This is the first place I’ve walked into that made me instantly, truly joyful! Inside, it was SO vibrant and thoughtfully styled. (I have begun redecorating my own earth-and-jewel-tones house already.) The patio and yard felt like a resort. The big bed and linens were comfortable, and the fashionably open closets were perfect. Apt. 217A has everything you need, plus a few extra items of hospitality

This is our 3rd or 4th year staying at Judy’s apartment. It is like coming home. She has a gift for decorating a comfortable space and her hospitality is amazing. We love the area for hiking and spending long weekends with nearby family. We really appreciate the cleanliness and comfort of each room, including spending time in her gorgeous yard with the pergola and fountain. Thank you again Judy

Judy is a fantastic host. You can’t find a better place to stay. The pictures of the place doesn’t do it justice. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. There’s always a sweet waiting for you when you check-in plus water. The towels are fluffy and the bedding is top notch. Please the extra health and beauty aids are high quality. When I’m in the area, I will always stay at 217.

Judy and Dewayne’s apartment was great! They definitely have the gift of hospitality. Everything in the apartment is tastefully and thoughtfully placed. It is a very inviting and relaxing place to stay. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome! We stayed 4 nights, with our daughter and son in law meeting us for one night on their way moving across the United States. Judy and Dewayne made sure they were welcome and even accommodated their moving van! The Shawnee National Forest is a great place to visit and explore. We hope to return to the area and will not hesitate to stay in Judy and Dewayne’s apartment!

You can tell that Judy and Dewayne really take pride in providing the most warm and inviting space for their guests. There are little touches that you notice that make it feel like they really try to think of everything you would need or want for your stay. From plush robes to menus to local restaurants to books to read, their place is a real oasis – especially the hot tub after a log day exploring the national forest. They are terrific hosts and I would recommend their place to anyone – especially young families.

This was a great place to stay! We had a great time and all of the extra touches were appreciated. When we went to leave to go back home our car battery was dead from the intense cold. Judy’s husband was kind enough to come out and jump the car for us. Would definitely recommend.

The extras are so special! Enjoy coffee or tea, snuggle in a plush robe after a relaxing night in the hot tub, or walk down a few blocks to enjoy one of the local eateries Judy provides information about. Anything you want, she’s already provided.        

Judy’s place was absolutely impeccable! Everything from the decor to the amenities to the communication was above and beyond anything I could’ve ever expected! The location of the rental was central to everything we needed to access and we so enjoyed the special touches that our hosts included. We will definitely find a reason to stay here again! Awesome experience.      

My sons and I stayed at the apartment for a few days to kick off our summer with a hiking adventure in the Shawnee National Forest. We could not have asked for a better location to use as a home base. The apartment offered everything we needed and then some. The pagoda patio was so relaxing and was a great place to unwind after a busy day. The beds were super comfy, too! The owners, Judy and Dewayne, were a delight to meet and talk with. They offered wonderful advice and insight on all that the area offered. We even took them up on the suggestion of using the local pool to help cool off after a day out hiking in the woods and we could not have been more grateful for the idea. It is a wonderful facility and is an inexpensive way to have some fun. If you are looking for a cute place with lots of charm and excellent owners to boot, don’t hesitate to book the Apartment at 217!

From beginning to end the stay was wonderful!! You get exactly what you pay for plus so much extra little wonderful things!! The apartment and property were beautiful, Judy and her husband were great hosts! It’s close to so many beautiful places to go explore! I would recommend this to anyone, you won’t be disappointed and we will most definitely be back to visit again!! Thank you for your servants heart!!
